The free trolley runs every day in a 14-stop, 30-minute clockwise loop. It is a valuable amenity to commuters, and provides a quick, safe, and efficient way to get to downtown dining, shopping, and entertainment. The Harbor Point Trolley supports Stamford Downtown’s long-established goal to support a neighborhood where people can live, work, and play.

The Harbor Point Trolley stops at several major destinations including:

  • Blackstones Steakhouse/Landmark Square
  • Ferguson Library

How much does it cost to ride the trolley?

It is free to the public.


Where are the stops located and how are they marked?

All stops are marked with Harbor Point Trolley signage (see Trolley Stop Sign above). Most of the stops are located at a CT Transit bus stop. For more descriptive directions, see the Harbor Point Trolley map above and click on each Trolley Stop icon.


How frequently does the trolley run?

The trolley runs 7 days a week and is scheduled to complete the 14-stop loop every 30 minutes. Stop times may vary due to traffic or weather conditions.


Is the Trolley wheelchair accessible?

Yes, there is an ADA accessible area for wheelchairs at the rear of the Trolley including an electric lift.


Are pets allowed on the Trolley?

Pets are not allowed, but service animals are permitted in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.


Linking Modes of Transit through Stamford Downtown

The Harbor Point Trolley is an efficient way to connect Stamford Downtown to the South End. It can also link pedestrians to a wider range of transportation options, such as CT Transit, Amtrak and Metro-North trains, and future bike or car share.
