Each year Stamford Downtown hosts a distinguished outdoor sculpture exhibit designed to attract both local and regional audiences.

This year we are honored to present Timeless – The Works of Seward Johnson. Thirty-six sculptures will grace the streets and parks of Stamford Downtown throughout the summer of 2018. The highlight of this exhibit is the iconic 26-foot tall Forever Marilyn.

Join us for two fun-filled events celebrating the opening of Timeless – The Works of Seward Johnson.

Cocktail & Hors d’oeuvre reception.  Tours will be conducted through the event to view the sculptures.

The Avon Theatre Film Center, Bedford Street, Stamford
Cocktails and a special viewing of Seward Johnson’s 26-foot tall iconic Forever Marilyn in Latham Park followed by a screening of the movie.

Art in Public Places History: Since 1994, the city of Stamford has presented summer-long outdoor sculpture exhibits.  The program’s goals are threefold:

-To promote the downtown as a regional tourism destination using art as vehicle
-To enhance the image of the downtown through a quality sculpture exhibit
-To foster art appreciation in diverse community
