The Stamford Model Railroad Club’s annual holiday open house will be the two Saturdays after Thanksgiving: November 30th and December 7th.  The 74-year-old club’s 150’ x 50’ 0-Scale operating model train layout is one of the largest on the East Coast.  Highly detailed scale model trains run through equally detailed city and countryside.  Fully operational miniature trolleys also operate giving a glimpse into historic local travel.  The club layout is located in the basement of St. John’s Episcopal Church, 628 Main St., Stamford, CT (exit 8 off I-95) and the entrance is street level on Grove Street. Hours are 1-5pm and 7-9pm.  Admission is $5-Adults, Children $4, Under 5 are free.
