Orchestra Lumos & East Coast Contemporary Ballet Performance

About the Performance: Stamford Downtown is excited to collaborate with Orchestra Lumos and East Coast Contemporary Ballet (ECCB) for a FREE evening of captivating live music and dance. The program will showcase ECCB’s reimagined The Four Seasons set arrangements of music from composers Max Richter, Ezio Bosso, Astor Piazzolla, and the band Kraftwerk played live by a string quintet from Orchestra Lumos. Featuring original choreography by ECCB directors Claire Mazza and Alejandro Ulloa, this bespoke Four Seasons builds upon Vivaldi’s original composition as a backdrop to a dynamic contemporary reinterpretation of the cyclical shifts in nature and in our own existence.
