HOLIDAY MODEL TRAIN DISPLAY

A beloved holiday tradition for all ages, the Stamford Model Railroad Club’s annual holiday open house will be the two Saturdays after Thanksgiving: November 29th and December 6th.  The 86-year-old club’s 150’ x 50’ O-Scale operating model train layout is one of the largest on the East Coast.  Highly detailed passenger and freight trains run through equally detailed city and countryside; as always the colorful Circus and Holiday trains are crowd favorites!  The club is located in the basement of St. John’s Episcopal Church, 628 Main St., Stamford, CT (exit 8 off I-95); entrance is on Grove Street. Hours both days are 1-5pm and 7-9pm.  (Closed between 5-7pm) Admission is $5-Adults, Children $4, Under 5 are free.  Municipal parking nearby. www.stamfordmodelrailroadclub.com
