Stamford Downtown has changed significantly over the last several decades from an office and entertainment focus to an incredibly mixed-use environment with over ten thousand residents and a significant university population. With the recent rise of work-from-home, this has meant that the daily population continues to grow with a combination of workers, visitors, and residents working from hom.

Each quarter, we analyze data and keep tabs on changes throughout the downtown to monitor the changing characteristics of our residential, worker, and visitor populations. We use this information to make decisions throughout the year about where to invest in the public realm and how to activate public spaces and we hope you will find this information to be a valuable tool.
