CANCELLED: Fire & Ice Winter Festival

Stamford Downtown has made the decision to cancel the Fire & Ice Winter Festival scheduled for Saturday, January 24, 2026, due to extreme cold temperatures forecasted for the area. The safety and comfort of families, visitors, performers, artists, vendors, and staff is our top priority. With dangerously low temperatures predicted, conditions are not suitable for an outdoor community event of this scale.

The good news: while the festival itself has been canceled, the ice sculptures will still be installed in Columbus Park, allowing residents, workers, and visitors to safely enjoy the artwork throughout the weekend and beyond (until they melt!). Guests are encouraged to view the sculptures at their leisure and dine at the surrounding restaurants.
