DESCRIPTION:Join us for a community knitting event to support those in need! \nThe Gathering Knitting and Crocheting Club welcomes you to learn to knit simple beginner-friendly dishcloths to be paired with dish soap and donated to the food pantry. Participants may also bring their own knitting project to work on and simply enjoy the company of fellow fiber artists. \nFor those completing the dishcloth project\, yarn will be provided along with a limited supply of knitting needles. Participants are encouraged to bring your their own size 7–8 needles and a lawn chair for extra comfort. Beverages and snacks will be available while you craft and connect with others. We hand out pom poms at the door because that energy in the room? That’s what carries our speakers through.
