DESCRIPTION:Drumming is fun\, feels good and is easier than you think. In these classes\, Matthew Broad teaches Djembe hand positions\, simple rhythms that sound amazing together and helps you to experience the connection between drumming rhythm and every day life. \nThe definition of Djembe is “everyone gather together in peace”. Djembe drum circles can feel meditative and peaceful and nurture a sense of friendship and community. \nAt the end of this 5 session class series\, you will know how to play different Djembe rhythms that will stay with you for the rest of your life. \nDropping in on one or more classes is welcome or sign up for all the classes and save. \nDrums are provided. No experience is necessary although experienced drummers may join to practice and immerse in the beats. Lessons will progress and build one session upon the next. \n$35/class or\n$140 for all 5 session pre paid. \nSign up in advance is required.

DESCRIPTION:Circus magazine in 1978 upon release of “Hot Blooded” commented that Lou Gramm had a voice that\nRobert Plant might envy. His unique vocals have made Foreigner one of\nBillboard’s Top 100 Artists of All Time in hit songs history. \nGramm was the lead vocalist on all of Foreigner’s hit songs\, including “Feels Like\nthe First Time”\, “Cold as Ice”\, “Long\, Long Way from Home”\, “Hot Blooded”\,\n“Double Vision”\, “Blue Morning\, Blue Day”\, “Head Games”\, “Dirty White Boy”\,\n“Urgent”\, “Juke Box Hero”\, “Break It Up” and “Say You Will”. He co-wrote most of\nthe songs for the band\, which achieved two of its biggest hits with the ballads\n“Waiting for a Girl Like You”\, which spent ten weeks at #2 on the 1981-82\nAmerican Hot 100\, and “I Want to Know What Love Is”\, which was a #1 hit\ninternationally (US & UK) in 1985. Their first 8 singles cracked the Billboard Top\n20\,(4 went Top 10) making them the first group since the Beatles to achieve this\nin 1980.

We hand out pom poms at the door because that energy in the room? That’s what carries our speakers through.
