No experience is necessary although experienced drummers may join to practice and immerse in the beats. DESCRIPTION:250 Years of Independence and Evolution: An illustrated talk by architectural historian and preservationist Wes Haynes \nIndependence sparked Stamford’s 250 year transformation from an isolated rural colony into today’s vibrant city.  Today this story hides in plain sight in the places where we live\, work and play.  In celebration of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence\, join us for a virtual tour of the existing buildings\, structures\, and monuments and the stories of the people and forces – immigration\, industries\, and technological innovations – that shaped our city over time. \nFor the preservation of historic Emerson Hall\, we ask for donations\, as you are able. $25 is recommended.
